1. General

These terms apply to all services provided by Broeders IT, registered at the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KVK) under number 97596078, located in Noordwijk, the Netherlands.

By engaging our services, you agree to these terms. We may update these terms periodically; continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Services

Broeders IT provides IT consultancy, custom software development, data solutions, and web development services. The specific scope, deliverables, and timeline for each project will be agreed upon in writing before work begins.

3. Quotes and Agreements

All quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. A project commences upon written acceptance of a quote or signing of a project agreement. Changes to scope after agreement may result in adjusted timelines and costs.

4. Payment

Invoices are due within 30 days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed. For larger projects, we may invoice in installments. Late payments may incur statutory interest as permitted under Dutch law.

5. Intellectual Property

Upon full payment, you receive ownership of all custom code and deliverables created specifically for your project. We retain the right to use general techniques, knowledge, and non-proprietary components in future work. Third-party components remain subject to their respective licenses.

6. Confidentiality

We treat all client information as confidential and will not share it with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.

7. Liability

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages. We maintain professional liability insurance appropriate to our services.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate a project with 30 days written notice. Upon termination, you will be invoiced for work completed up to the termination date, and all completed deliverables will be provided.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes will be submitted to the competent court in The Hague, the Netherlands.
